One Mediator, based in San Diego County, is the
mediation and arbitration offices of Matthew W. Argue practicing in California and nationally exclusively
focusing on construction and insurance.

Mr. Argue has over 35 years of experience in construction disputes, mediation and arbitration and has successfully mediated over 1000 construction cases to settlement and served as lead arbitrator in over 300 cases. He handles a wide variety of construction claims cases both public and private works. Formerly, he was head of the construction litigation department for Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP, where he

represented both large developer defendants and plaintiffs in construction defect cases. Most notably, he represented the plaintiffs in AAS v Superior Court which was appealed to the California Supreme Court and changed the recovery of damages in construction defect cases.
