One Mediator, based in San Diego’s North County,
is the mediation office of
Matthew W. Argue practicing in
Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties and beyond.
Focus areas include real estate, construction, insurance, class actions, and other emotional or difficult cases.
Mr. Argue has over 30 years of experience in construction disputes, mediation and arbitration, and has successfully mediated over 600 construction cases to settlement and served as lead arbitrator on over 300 cases. He was the head of the construction litigation department for Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves and Savitch LLP, where he represented both
large developer defendants and plaintiffs in construction defect cases. Most notably, he represented the plaintiffs in AAS v. Superior Court which was appealed to the California Supreme Court and changed the recovery of damages in construction defect cases.
